The Ashes is an incredible asset to Howden and the wider Shire. The play facilities are great. As an adult I spent over an hour with three adult friends playing on the climbing frame, slide and other various equipment, but mainly the slide a few weeks ago. They're based in a serene location that exudes a beautiful calm but also has great spirit and a sense of JOY over the entire place. The Ashes really is a place to be proud of, you can almost touch the future possibilities that lie ahead waiting to be created in the physical space.
